TreeSwing
TreeSwing is designed to work beautifully on mobile devices and the web. Investors can use either channel to create a brokerage account, browse the TreeSwing Marketplace of mutual funds, and invest.
Initial Ideation
During the initial discovery phase for the TreeSwing project, our team collaborated with different stakeholders across the company to understand the complexity and requirements to develop a mobile application that would simplify investing. This offering would be targeting a different audience for the company. TreeSwings target audience was centered around people that are normally confused by investing terminology and those that usually don’t meet the minimum requirements to start investing.
Onboarding Process
The onboarding process and design was a complex challenge to address. Our compliance and legal team was providing copy and requirements that were not currently available for mobile distribution. The initial intent was to be able to make the onboarding process quick and painless. However, given the nature of investment industry we notice a need and opportunity to connect with our users to present the legal information is a friendlier manner while gaining trust and credibility of our users as they are require to enter very sensitive information.
